Programme Outcome (PO’S)

Graduates of B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering Programme shall be able to

PO 1.**Proficiency in Programming**: Graduates will demonstrate proficiency in multiple programming languages and paradigms, with the ability to design, implement, and debug complex software systems.

PO 2.**Algorithm Design and Analysis**: Students will be able to design efficient algorithms, analyze their complexity, and apply algorithmic techniques to solve a wide range of computational problems.

PO 3. **Data Structures**: Graduates will understand fundamental data structures such as arrays, linked lists, trees, graphs, and hash tables, and be able to select and implement appropriate data structures for specific applications.

PO 4. **Software Engineering Principles**: Students will comprehend software engineering principles and practices, including requirements engineering, software design, testing, maintenance, and project management.

PO 5.**Database Systems**: Graduates will have knowledge of database management systems, including relational database design, query languages, transaction processing, and data warehousing.

PO 6.**Operating Systems**: Students will understand the principles of operating systems, including process management, memory management, file systems, and concurrency control, and be able to design and implement basic operating system components.

PO 7.**Computer Networks**: Graduates will understand the principles of computer networks, including network architectures, protocols, routing, and congestion control, and be able to design and analyze networked systems.

PO 8.**Cybersecurity**: Students will be familiar with cybersecurity principles and techniques, including cryptography, network security, secure coding practices, and threat modeling, to protect information systems from cyber threats.

PO 9.**Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning**: Graduates will have knowledge of artificial intelligence and machine learning concepts and techniques, including neural networks, deep learning, and reinforcement learning, and be able to apply them to solve real-world problems.

PO 10.**Human-Computer Interaction**: Students will understand principles of human-computer interaction, usability engineering, and user interface design, and be able to design and evaluate interactive systems that meet user needs and preferences.

PO 11.**Cloud Computing and Distributed Systems**: Graduates will understand principles of cloud computing and distributed systems, including virtualization, scalability, fault tolerance, and distributed algorithms, and be able to design and deploy distributed applications.

 

PO 12.**Ethics and Professional Responsibility**: Students will recognize the ethical and social implications of computing technologies, understand professional codes of conduct, and demonstrate ethical decision-making and responsibility in their practice as computer scientists and engineers.

Graduates of B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering Programme shall be able to

Technical Proficiency: Graduates of the CSE program will possess a strong foundation in computer science principles, including algorithms, data structures, software engineering, databases, and operating systems, enabling them to design, develop, and maintain software systems that meet industry standards and user needs.

Professional Development: Graduates will engage in continuous learning and professional development, acquiring advanced technical knowledge, practical skills, and interdisciplinary competencies to adapt to rapidly evolving technologies and industry trends in computer science and engineering throughout their careers.

Innovation and Entrepreneurship: Graduates will demonstrate creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, leveraging their technical expertise to develop innovative software solutions, products, and technologies that address societal needs, drive economic growth, and contribute to technological advancements.
